Terms of use

These terms cover this website. They are short because there is not much to say: this is a place to read about a practice and to book a conversation.

What this website is

It describes an advisory practice and lets you book a complimentary consultation. Everything on it is general in nature.

What it is not

Nothing here is professional, legal, financial, or investment advice, and reading it creates no advisory relationship between us. An advisory relationship begins only when we have both signed something that says so.

The questions are a structured prompt for a better conversation. They produce a starting point, not a diagnosis, and they are not a substitute for advice about your actual situation.

Booking a consultation

A complimentary consultation is exactly that: a conversation, at no cost, with no obligation on either side. We will do what we say we will do, when we said we would do it.

Bookings run through a third-party scheduling provider under its own terms.

What we ask of you

Use the site as intended. Do not attempt to break into it, disrupt it, extract data from it by automated means, or use it to send anyone anything unwanted.

Give us accurate details. If you book under someone else's name or address, we cannot do the thing you are asking us to do.

Content

The writing, frameworks, and material on this site belong to us. You are welcome to read it, quote it with attribution, and share the link. You may not republish it wholesale or present it as your own.

Where we link to somewhere else, we are not responsible for what is there.

Availability

We keep the site running and expect it to be available, but we do not promise it will never be down. We may change or remove anything on it.

Limits

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from the use of this website, and nothing on this page limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including for death, personal injury, or fraud.

Changes

We may update these terms. The current version is always the one on this page, and it is dated.
